MAABA is getting ready for the Gateway Dragon Boat Festival 2013

MAABA is proud to participate in the Gateway Dragon Boat Festival 2013, teaming up with American Chamber of Commerce and the Young Asian Professionals Association to filed two strong boats.  This year’s festival will feature a dragon dance by Shaolin Lohan Pai Dance Troupe, taiko drumming by St. Louis Taiko Otsuwa and performances by the International Shaolin Wushu Center, Violet Li’s tai chi group and St. Louis Japanese Ju Jitsu Club.  And if that weren’t enough, MAABA is holding its annual pig roast at the Festival.  Please join us and cheer on our teams!

13th Annual Unity Dinner will honor Chief Justice Richard Teitelman

MAABA is proud to announce that Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice Richard
Teitelman will receive the annual Torchbearer award at this years Unity Dinner. Justice Teitelman has been an active supporter of MAABA since the organization was found more than a decade ago. Furthermore, Justice Teitelman’s continued commitment to diversity in the St. Louis Metro area has been instrumental in increasing diversity. in the legal and local community.  We invite everyone to come join us at the 13th Annual Unity Dinner to celebrate the achievements of Justice Teitelman.


Call for CLE Program ideas for the 25th Annuanl NAPABA Convention

In November 2013, Kansas City will host the 25th Annual NAPABA Convention. In
addition to celebrating the 25th anniversary of the NAPABA Convention, the Convention will also focus on the MOmentum achieved by Asian Pacific American attorneys in the past twenty-five years, as well as practical ways to keep the momentum going for all NAPABA members. We welcome submissions that not only acknowledge our past achievements, but also explore practical solutions and advice for our attendees’ future development.

The deadline for submissions is 8:00 pm EDT, Wednesday May 1, 2013.
